Hello, Sir,
My name is Cornelius Adewale; and my on-line pen-name is "spacegold". I have just read about this social platform while going through your contribution of October 28, 2008 (more than a year ago), at www.nairaland.com on Interswitch/etransact & VpayCash set-ups. I consider your contribution to be of so much expert knowledge, desirous and helpful; that I now find it both expedient and necessary to contact your Blog/Social Platform to know further.

I notice that you are a Developer. I am an Author/Article Writer on various subjects of interests. (And you could do a "Google Search" on my name to find out more, pls.) Right now, I have a series of write-ups in Digital formats (eBooks); and I have in mind to have an e-commerce website where I can upload these materials unto, make them available to the public as "downloadable products" after paying some little Naira payments for them within Nigeria

From your write-up under reference above, may I ask a question - Can you develop an e-commerce site for me to take care of these concerns of mine? And how do we further our discussions on these, pls?

Thank you & Happy New Year to you within the next few hours from now!

Hey thanks man for writing. i am really sorry for taking this long to answer your question. But yeah i have been developing for  a while now and i think i like your idea. But the question is not if i could do that job or not rather the question should be interms of the marketaility of your product. If you want people to pay to get access to your online document, it implies that you have some special research work that is are and that will motivate people to want to buy such document. I can do the stuff for you but you need to do research on your idea before putting it online. You will also have to consider the things involved in connecting with the Nigerian payment gateway too
I will be glad to help you out on this
Thanks

Thanks for your response, Sir. I am very grateful.
I understand perfectly that any product at all, whether on-line or off-line - no matter how good, requires some marketing to succeed in sales. And I am ready to face that head-long. Hopefully, my strategies will work out eventually to bring frutiful results.
I am also aware (albeit, to some little extent), that either Web-Pay or e-Tranzact Authorities would require some mandatory documents from me (like C.A.C. papers of my Limited Liability Comapny, etc) my Company Bank Acct Number + other details, and payment of some Naira amount (or so), in order for them to grant a "go-ahead" for such use.  If you know the full details, please let me know, Sir.
Nonetheless, I am still interested in this matter, because I think that in Nigeria of today, we should, indeed:-
(a) take on-line marketing of products to a higher level;
(b) purchases of our products - particularly downloadable digital products, to be rather seamless, prompt and less time-consuming; and
(c) ensure the realization of "on-line-real-time" e-commerce products and internet marketing from this Country - Nigeria.
You see, my thinking is that it is high time we dispensed with the current cumbersome so-called "on-line" 'business system' of asking people to go to certain banks to deposit money into somebody's account, send deposit details to an e-mail or GSM Tel. No.,  and await bank confirmation of deposits before making products available to the buyers) - which takes some days, if not weeks, to consumate).
I would like to be at the forefront of this novel sytem; and hope that you can help me out at an agreed cost, since I don't know web-design. Thank you.
